Opportunities Circle is bringing another great opportunity in form of an exchange program, Oxford Public Speaking Summer School 2020 Funded

Applications are now open for the Oxford Public Speaking Summer School 2020. The course will begin with an exploration of the skills necessary to be a great public speaker, and you will learn the theory and methodology of public speaking. The history of public speaking will be examined, and students will examine famous historical speeches and also the methods employed by famous and contemporary speakers, such as former President Barack Obama. Students will then examine the reasoning and the means by which speakers overcome anxiety when speaking in front of a crowd.

    At the end of the course, students will have:

    • He explored what makes a speech (and a speaker) captivates his audience
    • Also, they learned how to manage their nerves from public speaking
    • They received a full day of classic voice training that will emphasize the importance of language, tone, style, and body language.
      Also, he discussed different types of speeches and when they should be used.
    • He discovered the importance of planning speeches
    • They gave several speeches to their classmates and participated in a debate to hone their skills.
    • A better understanding of how to build a persuasive and informative speech
    • I learned to think standing up.
