Opportunities circle comes up with another great program Orange Knowledge Programme Scholarship 2021 Fully Funded

Apply for the 2021 Fully Funded Orange Knowledge Program Scholarships in the Netherlands. The application deadline is June 30, 2020.

Netherlands Government Scholarship 2021 is a fully funded scholarship, offered through the Orange Knowledge Program (OKP). Applicants can apply for short courses and MPhil / Master programs.

Together with the Dutch embassies, Nuffic is developing programs for the 52 partner countries. The Orange Knowledge Program started in mid-2017 and will end in 2022.

The Orange Knowledge Program aims to advance the development of the capacity, knowledge and quality of both individuals and organizations in the field of higher and professional education and in other fields related to priority issues in the countries of the Program.

    Eligibility Criteria :

    Here are some of the eligibility criteria  for the Orange Knowledge Programme Scholarship

    • The candidate must have worked for a national / local organization or universities, institutions, the private sector, NGOs, or commissions for academic or professional education.
    • Similarly, the candidate must have experience in their field of interest or networks or be employed within a relevant topic.
      In addition, the candidate must be a national of the previous countries.
    • Also, the candidate must have valid required documents.
    • Additionally, the candidate must enroll in a course in which they wish to apply for OKP.
    • If the local government requires a letter on the application form, applicants must provide a government statement.
    • In addition, your employer must write a letter saying that they will continue to give you the expected salary throughout the program. (OKP gives you enough money so that even you don’t receive any monthly payment from your employer, that won’t be a problem for you)

    Benefits :

    • One of the instruments offered by the Orange Knowledge Program are individual scholarships, which are open to mid-career professionals who are nationals of and live and work in the given countries (see the official website)
    • This 5-year program is started and funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and administered by Nuffic.
    • Similarly, scholarships are available for a selection of:
      • Short courses (duration from 2 weeks to 12 months);
      • Master’s programs (duration 12-24 months).

    Here are some of the phases of the Orange Knowledge Programme Scholarship

    • Round 1: closed
    • Round 2: 13 May-30 June (for masters starting between 24 November – 27 July 2021 and short courses starting between 24 November – 22 February 2021)
    • Round 3: 2 September-13 October (only for short courses starting between 23 February – 27 July 2021)
