About

Creation of the Fellowship was introduced on the inaugural One Planet Summit held in Paris in December 2017. Inspired by the AWARD Fellowship Model, the USD 15 million five-year initiative seeks to spend money on 600 agricultural scientists by three rounds of open competitors. Selected candidates will take part in an intensive, non-residential, profession acceleration course of aimed toward fostering management abilities, strengthening scientific analysis abilities together with integrating gender into their analysis, and catalyzing analysis partnerships and networks. Candidates who full the three-year course of will grow to be One Planet Laureates.
