Nokia acknowledges innovations in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. The awards will be held for game changers in technology and innovation this year.

This program brings solutions through technology to modern problems leaving a significant impact in the world of science. This global competition will help you implement your technological solution by awarding a prize to the winners. The top three participants will also receive work opportunities from Nokia Bell Labs in the future.

    Eligibility Criteria :

    Participants should fulfill the following criteria to apply for the Nokia Bell Labs Prize:

    • Participants must have their own ideas for the competition.
    • They should not be under the age of 21.
    • Furthermore, they must have a bachelor’s, master or doctorate degree.
    • Employees, consultants and partners of the host organization are ineligible. Any immediate family members of the affiliated companies of the host are also ineligible.
    • Interns of Nokia or Nokia Bell Labs are eligible for this competition.
    • A participating team should have a maximum of four members. Each member should meet the eligibility criteria.
    • Participants must be a national of any of the eligible countries.

    Benefits :

    The winners of the Nokia Bell Labs competition will receive the following prizes:

    • First prize – USS 100,000.
    • Second prize – USD 50,000.
    • Third prize – USD 25,000.
    • The program will start from 3 June 2022 to 15 November 2022.
    • Applicable taxes on prize money and any other official charges will be the winner’s responsibility.
    • The payment will be under the jurisdiction’s laws, either by cheque or any other legal form.
    • If a winner fails to provide the required documents or fails to abide by the law, he/she will be disqualified.
