Nobrow Short Story Competition 2019 (Win £2000)

Nobrow Short Story Competition 2019 (Win £2000)

Nobrow is known for visual publishing and is dedicated to the design and production of beautiful books. This is something they are extremely proud of. At the heart of everything, they make stories. They believe that this is the basis on which their publication is based: we love all forms of narration, whether visual, lyrical or literary. Everything aims to transport a reader to another place and time and keep it there; paralyzed
That’s why they are delighted to announce that they are organizing the Nobrow Story Contest contest for writers! Up to twelve winning entries will be published in his anthology of stories, and this beautifully illustrated book will celebrate the best fiction and nonfiction writings.

The theme is “The censor.” You can interpret this the way you want: it could represent the censorship of the past, present and future; the me the state; or the effects of censorship in everyday life. As a provocation, they hope that their theme can provide a rich vein of narrative inspiration for anyone wishing to participate in the competition. They seek inclusive, surprising, ingenious and diverse answers that capture our minds and hold us until each word is devoured.

It is completely free to participate and welcome to the presentations you have already written, provided they have not been previously published and may be related to the theme of The Censor.
