Matsumae International Foundation Fellowships

Applications are open for Matsumae International Foundation Fellowships in Japan. The foundation provides different opportunities for a brighter future of students worldwide, giving free hands to select their host institutes in Japan. Candidates would be allowed to work under the supervision of their international supervisors of top research laboratories in Japan.

The program is open to applicants who never experienced travelling to Japan. PhD and research scholars are invited to apply for the fellowship program if they meet the criteria; graduate school students are also encouraged. Keeping in mind the disasters of World War 2, Japan keeps the motto of Peace through this application. If you meet the criteria, then apply for the fellowship program now and get the chance to visit Japan.

    All international citizens are eligible to apply.

    Candidates must have an acceptance letter from the host institution.

    Candidates must have a doctoral degree before applying to this fellowship.

    Candidates must be either good at Japanese or English language.

    Candidates must be employed in his or her country of origin.

    Candidates should not have visited Japan before.

    Interested candidates shall first apply to the host institution and then to the fully funded institution.

    Later after receiving an acceptance letter from both institutes, candidates have to download the application form of Matsumae International Foundation (MIF) Fellowship from the official website. Then the candidates must send the application along with required documents at, [email protected]
