Kyoto University is a national university in Kyoto and the second oldest university in Japan. The University of Kyoto does not charge any application fees to apply for the scholarship. Kyoto University and the Asian Development Bank offer a 2-year master’s scholarship.

Asian Development Bank

The Asian Development Bank scholarship program enrolls 300 students on a full scholarship annually. The Kyoto University is under ADB. Kyoto University Scholarship is Funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB).  and also ADB will cover all expenses. You can only study the 2-year master’s program.

    Eligibility Criteria :

    Here are the eligibilities for the Kyoto University Scholarship

    • Be a national of an AfDB country indicated above.
    • A baccalaureate or it’s equivalent with higher academic results.
    • Minimum two years of professional experience (acquired after a university degree) at the time of application.
    • No more than 35 years old at the time of application.
    • In exceptional cases, for programs suitable for senior civil servants and executives, the age limit is 45.
    • Agree to return home when the program is over.
