Internship with the International Staff at NATO Headquarters in Brussels for current or recent students. NATO’s mission is to ensure its members’ independence and security through political and military methods.
NATO fosters democratic values by allowing members to consult and collaborate on defence and security matters in order to solve problems, create confidence, and, in the long term, avoid confrontation. Moreover, it is committed to peaceful conflict resolution. It has the military power to conduct crisis-management operations if diplomatic attempts fail. These are carried out, either alone or in concert with other countries and international organisations under a United Nations mandate.
Each year, in the spring, there is one call for applicants, with two start dates: September and March the following year. In general, internships will last between 6 and 8 months.
