The ISW institute scholarships for women are now open for the 2020-2021 session. There is no application fee to apply for this scholarship only for women offered to undergraduate, master’s and doctoral students.

Preference will be given to women who demonstrate prior dedication to charity or volunteer work to empower women in their specific fields and also women through professional, community or civic work.

    Eligibility Criteria :

    Applicants for the ISW scholarship must meet the following standards to qualify for the international scholarship:

    • Except for the scholarship of Iran ISW ​​is available for women from any other country.
    • The age requirement for degree programs depends on the requirements of the University.
    • Have an educational degree (received abroad or in the U.S.) Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in the U.S. .
    • For the application for enrollment in the master’s degree program, obtain a degree equivalent to a master’s degree in the USA. . To apply for a doctoral program or have a Doctorate to apply for a postdoctoral position.
    • Committed to dedicate to the planned educational plan, if selected. A letter of commitment must be signed by the candidate upon receiving the ISW scholarship.
    • Plan to return to your home country to take up a professional occupation.
    • Be proficient in English. Unless the candidate can confirm that her resident jargon is English (a written statement is required), that she obtained her university degree or secondary diploma that was taught in
    • English (a transcript is needed), or that she needs to present a letter that provide evidence of your work as a full-time researcher enrolled in a program taught in English (a transcript is required; a certificate of English proficiency is required), IELTS or evidence of English proficiency is required.

    Application Process:

    Before applying for ISW financing, you need the list of the following documents:

    • Scholarship for women Application form 2020-2021 for admission
    • Conditional admission letter from the US University  In medical, engineering or science programs
    • Evidence of competence in reading, writing and oral expression of the candidate. A letter from the previous university stating that the previous degree was taught in the English language is acceptable. Candidates presenting IELTS with at least 6 bands do not need a letter of proficiency in English from the University.
    • Detailed curriculum that includes all extracurricular activities and voluntary participation of the candidate
    • Two letters of recommendation from professors from the last time they attended an educational institute
    • The research proposal for the doctoral program applicants and the curriculum for the applicants of the master’s degree course is also mandatory
    • Motivation letter that indicates why you want to study in the USA.
