UNESCO, is in collaboration with the National Commission of the People’s Republic of China for UNESCO International Youth Forum , is pleased to invite women and men between 18 and 30 years of age from countries along the sea and land routes of the Silk, to participate in the Third International Youth Forum on Creativity and Heritage along the silk routes (IYF3), which will be held in Changsha and Nanjing, from March 31 to April 6, 2019.
The IYF3 focuses on the theme “Creativity and youth innovation in the era of media arts” with the objectives of:
To offer young people the opportunity to express their interests and concerns about the advancement of creativity through the promotion of tangible and intangible cultural heritage towards a sustainable future, using Media Arts as tools and vectors for this purpose.
Seek to mobilize the inclusion of young people in the cultural and creative industries that promote our common heritage through a wide range of Media Arts.
The Changsha Media Arts Residency residency program, as part of the Changsha Media Arts & International Youth Forum Festival on creativity and heritage along the silk routes, is organized by the Changsha municipal government, with the support of the UNESCO Office in Beijing. The 2019 residency program will last one month, from April 7 to May 3, 2019, both inclusive.
