International Student Week in Timisoara, also known as ISWinT, is an intercultural festival dedicated to students from 18 to 30 years of age enrolled in any university in the world. ISWinT is an international festival dedicated to students from all corners of the world. The concept was created in 1994 and started from the bold ideas of enthusiastic students who believed in unity, multiculturalism, and friendship. It grew more and more, and this year it reached its 26th edition, always animated by a new team, new ideas and a growing number of participants. What ISWinT saves and transmits from one generation to another is the spirit, enthusiasm, and motivation to make an unforgettable edition every year. In general, during ISWinT, international cultural diversity takes over the city of Timişoara.
This year, ISWinT will be held between July 22 and August 2 in Timisoara, Romania. Applications for the festival are open until March 17 for students who need a visa to travel to Romania and until April 7 for those who do not need it.
The theme of this edition is “Learn today, change tomorrow” and you can participate in one of the eight workshops that cover topics such as:
- Connecting International Structures with Students
- Gender Equality
- Inclusive societies
- Information and constructive dialogue
- Mental Health and Wellbeing
- Quality employment
- Quality learning
- Student organizations and international programs
- In addition to the workshops, you will participate in several activities and there will be a 2-day excursion.
