This is the second year of this Indo-Pacific Futures Fellowship by the East-West Center and the Doris Duke Foundation. Many of the current challenges arise from issues that are related to access to resources, economic and environmental instability, and obstacles or voids of inefficient governance. To access these challenges, there is a requirement for innovative, dynamic, and responsive leadership to cater to the needs of communities. The international fellowship will explore the connections between energy systems, food security, and leadership for the greater good.
This Indo-Pacific Futures Fellowship invites individuals from all over the world. The fellowship for international students is open to a wide range of fields, including advocacy, government, communities, arts, media and technology, entrepreneurship, business, energy, and food producers. The program will gather participants from different fields, which will result in a diverse range of ideas and experiences. The duration of this international fellowship program is almost 8 months; it will take place from October 2025 to May 2026. Indo-Pacific fellowship program will take place in USA and New Zealand. There are four stages of this East-West Center Fellowship program: the first stage is a virtual session, the second one will be in Hawaii, the third one will be a virtual session, and the last and fourth stage is a session in Wellington, New Zealand.
The Indo-Pacific Futures Fellowship 2025 is a fully funded fellowship. The fellowship will cover all the costs related to the program, including round-trip airfare, program fee and materials, travel insurance, meals, accommodation, and visa costs (if required). This IPFF 2025 program is a unique opportunity for individuals to visit the USA and New Zealand for free. Fellows will work under the mentorship of renowned professionals. They will engage in different collaborative activities and tasks. This East-West Center Futures Fellowship will help them increase their knowledge and upgrade their skills.
