Community Engagement Exchange Program (CEE) 2022-2023 is a chance to enhance cooperation and establish peace among different nations and countries by supporting and promoting civil society leaders to build healthy and participatory communities in over 100 countries. This international exchange program in the USA provides a platform for emerging and influential leaders to use their full potential and strengths to establish working networks and blooming relationships between segregated communities.
The main purpose of this program is to focus on key participatory factors needed for growth and progress in society. The key factors include gender equality, participatory government, sustainable development, youth participation and resilience. By incorporating these key factors, young leaders of this generation learn to collaborate and develop a diverse and multi-disciplinary global civil society ecosystem.
The Community Engagement Exchange Program is an initiative by the US Government and is supported by the International Research and Exchange Board (IREX). IREX is a globally known non-profit organization working to generate extraordinary exchange programs related to studies and development. The main purpose of the community engagement exchange program is to allow students to ponder upon issues of public concern and come up with working solutions to tackle such arising problems in society. This program helps build leadership and decision-making skills in the youth of this generation.
The CEE Program includes a 3-month US-based program, participation in the Leadership and Civic Engagement Academy, community engagement projects and continuing global and local networking. During the 2022-2023 tenure, the CEE Program focuses on five main themes: civic dialogue and peacebuilding, governance, equality, resilience and sustainable development, and youth engagement.
