Community Engagement Exchange Program

Community Engagement Exchange Program 2023-2024 is an opportunity to enhance cooperation and establish peace among different nations and countries by supporting and promoting civil society leaders to build healthy and participatory communities in over 100 countries. This international exchange program in the USA provides a platform for emerging and influential leaders to use their full potential and strengths to establish working networks and blooming relationships between segregated communities. The duration of the Community Engagement Exchange Program is one year.

The primary purpose of this fully funded exchange program in the USA is to focus on key participatory factors needed for growth and progress in society. The key factors include gender equality, participatory government, sustainable development, youth participation and resilience. By incorporating these key factors, young leaders of this generation learn to collaborate and develop a diverse and multi-disciplinary global civil society ecosystem.

The Community Engagement Exchange Program is an initiative by the US Government and is supported by the International Research and Exchange Board (IREX). IREX is a globally known non-profit organization working to generate extraordinary exchange programs related to studies and development. The primary purpose of the community engagement exchange program is to allow students to ponder upon issues of public concern and come up with working solutions to tackle such arising problems in society. The leadership program helps build leadership and decision-making skills in the youth of this generation and is an opportunity to promote the exchange of culture and improve international relations.

The CEE Program includes a 3-month US-based program, participation in the Leadership and Civic Engagement Academy, community engagement projects and continuing global and local networking. During the 2023-2024 tenure, the CEE Program focuses on five main themes, including harnessing the power of networks, relationships, and information for the public good, specifically on issues related to civic dialogue and peacebuilding, women and gender equality, resilience and sustainable development, and youth engagement.

Furthermore, applicants do not need to worry about the cost related to the USA exchange program; all cost will be covered, including health insurance, round trip airfare and a stipend to cover accommodation and living. In addition, IREX will also provide support to obtain J-1 visa. So do not miss this opportunity and apply for the Community Engagement Exchange Program.
