CAS-TWAS President’s PhD Fellowship Programme is open for application
According to a settlement between the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) for the development of science in growing nations, as much as 200 scholars/students from everywhere in the world shall be sponsored to check in China for doctoral levels for as much as four years.
This CAS-TWAS President’s Fellowship Programme gives scholars/students which might be non-Chinese residents a possibility to pursue doctoral levels on the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS), the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) or Institutes of CAS round China.
The funding length of the fellowship is as much as four years WITH NO EXTENSION, divided into:
- Maximum 1-year research of programs and participation in centralized coaching at UCAS/USTC, together with four months obligatory programs in Chinese Language and Chinese Culture;
- Practical analysis and completion of a diploma thesis at faculties and colleges of UCAS/USTC or CAS institutes.
