The Carnegie Scholarship Program for the African Diaspora (CADFP) is an academic scholarship program for educational projects in African institutions of higher education. Offered by IIE in collaboration with the International University of the United States-Africa (USIU-Africa), the program is funded by a grant from the Carnegie Corporation of New York (CCNY). A total of 395 scholarships for the African diaspora have been awarded to academics traveling to Africa since the beginning of the program in 2013. CADFP exemplifies CCNY’s lasting commitment to higher education in Africa. The IIE administers and administers the program, including applications, project applications and scholarships. USIU-Africa provides strategic direction through the Advisory Council.

CADFP academic applications must be submitted and coincide with a project request on December 9, 2019 or earlier, to be considered in the fall 2019 review cycle. In addition, academics should familiarize themselves with the process of submitting a project. by a possible host institution in Africa.

Eligibility Criteria :

To be eligible for CADFP, a student must:

Being born in any African country, as evidenced by biographical data in the academic passport;
He lives in the United States or Canada;
Have a final degree
Be employed in an accredited college or university.
Students may have any academic rank, but postdocs are not eligible.
As part of the application, academics submit personal statements and information about their academic qualifications, disciplinary experience, and administrative experience. A letter of recommendation from a dean (or an administrator of equal or higher level) of the current academic institution is required.

Application Process:

The application process for the fully funded DAAD EPOS Scholarship 2027 is online.

Applications must be sent directly to the respective University. Applications sent to the DAAD will not be considered or forwarded to the appropriate courses.

Applicants must send their complete application with all the required documents directly to the appropriate postgraduate course.

Applicants can apply for up to three postgraduate courses. If they choose more than one course, they must mention the list of courses in order of priority in the DAAD application form.

The application must be submitted in English or German.

A selection committee will suggest the potential applicants for this DAAD EPOS scholarship in Germany.

DAAD will contact the suggested applicants to upload their complete application to the DAAD Portal.

Make sure that you have a copy of each application document ready in PDF files, as those documents have to be uploaded to the DAAD Portal in case the applicant is suggested for the DAAD scholarship 2027.
