Australian Sugar Industry Scholarship at Sugar Research Institute in Australia, 2019 is open for application

The scholarship is open for undergraduates finding out engineering (chemical, mechanical, the course of, and electrical), science or technical disciplines at an Australian university or tertiary establishment.

This Scholarship goals to encourage the participation of excessive caliber scholars in the Australian sugar processing trade.

Australia’s Sugar Research Institute (SRI) affords international experience in sugar milling and refining know-how. They draw upon 69 years of sugar-specific expertise to unravel the technical and operational problems with cane sugar processing.

    Eligibility Criteria :

    • A penultimate 12 months pupil at present endeavor an engineering, science or technical diploma at an Australian university or tertiary establishment
    • Able to undertake as much as three intervals of labor placement over an 18-month interval (12 weeks in whole) throughout semester breaks at an Australian sugar mill location chosen by SRI.
    • Before the graduation of every work placement, the scholarship recipient should efficiently full all medical checks together with alcohol and drug testing required by a sugar trade firm.
