Applications are open for the Atomcamp Entrepreneurs Program 2021.
Atomcamp has launched a holistic and first-of-its-kind training and mentorship program in Pakistan for aspiring entrepreneurs. The program will equip the youth of Pakistan with essential entrepreneurial skills and tools to assist them in developing their business ideas. Through this program, atomcamp aims to uplift the youth of Pakistan and set them on the path to success.
Atomcamp believes that everyone is a born entrepreneur. Our youth only need an enabling environment to take calculated risks, access to networking opportunities, and skills development to emerge as thriving entrepreneurs. In addition, entrepreneurs need the confidence to share and exchange their ideas to take them to commercialization. Networking and mentoring initiatives help prospective entrepreneurs to filter for financially sustainable ideas and improve them to create lucrative businesses.
Umeed-e-Sehar Atomcamp Entrepreneurs program is a virtual 3-month training and mentoring program, making it accessible to entrepreneurs across the country and from different sectors. The program will teach how to “build something from nothing.” The course content is relevant to individuals thinking about starting a business or who are already in business – large or small. In addition, it will provide an open platform for emerging entrepreneurs to pitch and discuss ideas with their fellow peers. The content will be delivered mostly in Urdu, with group discussions conducted in English on the assembly platform.
Mentors will provide practical guidance, constantly referring to the business plans/ideas of participants. Topics that will be covered include the viability of business ideas, marketing & research, capital market, export market, HRM and building high-performing teams, growth and scaling strategies, blockchain and evolution of money, business communication, project management, and financial management.
There will be three mandatory sessions of 2 hours each per week. The first session in the week will focus on the interaction of participants with successful and failed entrepreneurs to draw useful lessons on the dos and don’ts of a business. The second session will focus on skill-building and allow participants to discuss their concerns regarding their businesses. The final session will focus on sector-specific coaching by industry experts.
