You must be a high school or university student to participate in IAAC 2019. Students of all grades and all countries are invited to participate! You must be intelligent, open and creative to solve scientific problems.

We understand the crucial role of teachers and schools in science education. Because of that, we awarded several school awards to honour the efforts of teachers and schools: IAAC Award to the school for the majority of the participants: this award receives the school with the majority of the participants of the qualification round to honour the efforts of teachers to encourage students to participate in science competitions.
AIAF school award for most finalists: this special award receives the school with the most students who have demonstrated outstanding performance and participated in the final and final round of the school. Award for school excellence. The award receives the school with many outstanding students who have achieved high results throughout the global competition to honour the quality of education in general. Round Process and Rounds: The qualification round 2019 consists of five astronomy problems and you can send your solutions online until April 14, 2019.
pre-final round
All participants receive certificates. One week to solve the ten challenging problems of the pre-final round.
Final Round: Successful finalists can participate in the final round: you will take a 60-minute supervised exam. Winners receive certificates and cash prizes worth over 700 USD.
