Opportunities circle shares an excellent opportunity, Asia Kakehashi Fully Funded Scholarship in Japan for high school students. Japan is offering scholarships for high school students to promote cultural exchange. Students will attend Japanese high schools with Japanese students. It will help interaction and communication among students of different backgrounds, improving language skills. Asia Kakehashi Fully Funded Scholarship program was initiated by Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in 2017 to improve Japan’s relation with Asian countries.
National Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology (MEXT) has appointed AFS Japan to run this program to facilitate the exchange and relation of Japan’s teenagers with other Asian countries. The program is sponsored and funded by Japan’s government for High school students to travel to Japan and continue studies in Japanese high schools. This is an ideal chance for high schoolers with excellent academic records and strong motivation to participate in foreign opportunities. The students will be staying at the dormitory during school days while during vacations, they might arrange host families for the participants. Parents need not to worry about their child as the local volunteers and professional staff will guide and support them through activities.
