The YLAI fellowship program 2025 has five components. The first component of this 2024 YLAI Fellowship in USA is a four-week Professional Placement in which fellows will gain professional development skills and experience in cities across the United States. The second component is the YLAI Leadership Curriculum, which has online and in-person coursework. This coursework is developed by IREX and Arizona State University (ASU). The third component is the YLAI Welcome Workshop in the United States. In this workshop, the fellows will meet the YLAI team in a US city for a welcome meeting.
The fourth component is the YLAI Closing Forum in the United States. YLAI Fellows will participate in the YLAI Closing Forum in Washington, DC, and networking events with business and social entrepreneurial leaders and US government representatives. The last component is Post-Fellowship Sustained Engagement. After the successful completion of the Fellowship, YLAI Fellows continue their collaboration with US partners. After the fully funded fellowship in USA ends, they will still have access to ongoing professional development opportunities and networking. YLAI Fellows can invite a US host to their country through the Outbound Exchange Program.
