Yenching Academy of Peking University is inviting international students worldwide to apply for the Yenching Academy Scholarship for the academic year 2023. The scholarship is offered to pursue a master’s program in China. Master’s scholarships will be awarded on a merit basis, academic excellence, and a record of extracurricular activities. Students can apply from any country without restrictions on nationality; therefore, international students who meet the criteria can apply for this fully funded scholarship. This scholarship for international students will help them gain insight into Chinese culture and an opportunity to study at the 16th-best institute in the world.
International students demonstrating academic excellence and extracurricular records are welcome to apply for the fully funded scholarship in China. Furthermore, through the Yenching scholarship program 2023 in China, 120 students from around the world, including the Mainland, are selected to pursue a master’s program in China. In addition, students can choose the area of research according to their interests. Yenching Academy of Peking University offers six different research areas: economics and management, philosophy and religion, politics and international relations, law and society, history and archeology, and literature and culture.
Yenching Academy accepts a large number of international students every year, as for scholarships approx. one hundred and twenty students from Asia and other countries are selected. Therefore, 80% of the enrolled students are international students; among them 30-35% students are from European countries, 25% from America, Canada and almost 30% from the rest of the countries. Students will complete postgraduate studies and have a culture exchange knowledge as students from different countries study together and exchange their cultures and values.
Yenching Academy of Peking University offers master’s degrees in 6 different fields; therefore, students have many options to choose from. Yenching Academy will provide all the funding for the successful candidates, including tuition fees, research cost, a monthly stipend, travel cost, and accommodation. The duration of the Yenching academy scholarship is 2 years for the master’s program.
