The United People Global (UPG) Sustainability Leadership Program offers a unique chance for individuals and organizations to engage with like-minded individuals who share a deep concern for sustainability-related matters. Participants have the opportunity to connect with current UPG Sustainability Leaders and gain insights into their experiences and initiatives. The fully-funded Leadership program in the USA is spearheaded by individuals holding the title of UPG Sustainability Leaders. Annually, UPG provides training to more than 500 international leaders from diverse global regions, integrating them into the existing community of exceptional leaders committed to driving change within their respective communities. As part of its leadership training initiatives, UPG has already imparted direct training to over 25,000 individuals worldwide, with this number continuing to grow.
Similarly, the UPG leadership program is offered to young individuals for free, thanks to the generous backing of supportive partners who share a belief in promoting positive citizen leadership in sustainability. UPG Sustainability Leaders go on to create a meaningful impact on a global scale. Through this international training program, they pledge to undertake two specific actions within their communities or nations. These include leading personal projects of their choosing that align with at least one of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), as well as conducting training sessions for their local communities.
