The UNITED STATES SUMMER INTERNSHIP 2019 By Global Leadership Forum is now open for applications. The GLF Media internship is part of the short course of United World Colleges United States of America – UWC-USA. The Global Leadership Forum will provide today’s or rising media professionals with the unique opportunity to tell the stories of young international youth in a beautiful and dramatic landscape, while addressing significant issues.

Inmates of the selected media will work in collaboration with the GLF Director to document the stories and events of the 2019 GLF summer program. The qualified candidate for an internship in the US UU You can internalize and model the mission and core values ​​of UWC, participate in a positive and inclusive environment and maintain professional boundaries between participants and staff. The media trainees will develop a library of digital and marketing materials for the program and website, and will also assist GLF participants with their community project action plans.

    Job/Internship Description :

    General

    Participate with participants through workshops and activities on campus, off campus and in the desert
    Create materials that contribute to the redesign plan of the website.
    Create a certificate of completion for the participants.
    Participate in 2-3 walks and 3 days / 2 nights of camping.
    Current or graduate high school student

    Video and photography

    Take high-quality photos and videos of staff and participants during staff training and the summer program
    Take high-quality photos and videos of all the components and activities of the program during the summer program
    Develop a one-minute weekly summary of the camp and participants
    Create materials for dissemination, promotion and marketing using Facebook,
    Instagram and other social media sites (for example, SnapChat and Blogs)
    Direct and assist GLF participants in the creation of digital media projects.
    Collect and organize all photographs and videos created by staff and participants to be useful and distributed for the 2018 cohort

    Social media

    Manage GLF’s Facebook account during GLF staff training and summer program
    Post updates, news, photos and videos that highlight the program and staff training on the GLF Facebook page
    Create innovative social media clips, showing the dynamic beauty of New Mexico and the diverse cohort of students
    Investigation

    Investigation of the online activity of exemplary camps and summer programs.
    Report to the Director on best practices in social media for exemplary camps and

    summer programs

    Create a social media communication and marketing template plan for the summer 2019 programming

    A letter of intent explaining your interest in being a GLF media trainee (250 – 500 words)
    A reel or a collection of links to your multimedia work. Video and fixed shots, if possible.
    Two references listed. Include your full name, title, relationship with you, email address and phone number
