Are you a youth leader, changemaker, or organization who are passionate about transforming the education world? If yes, then you should apply for the UNESCO Global Citizenship Education Prize. But before you start your application, make sure you review the eligibility criteria.

Eligibility Criteria for the UNESCO Prize for Global Citizenship Education 2025:

For the Youth-led organization category: The applicant must be a part of an organization that is led by individuals aged between 18 and 30 years old.
For Other category: The applicant can be any individual, institution, non-governmental organization, or other body.
Applicants must be nominated by an NGO in official partnership with UNESCO or a UNESCO National Commission.
The initiative must be relevant to GCED.
The initiative should have been implemented for at least 1 year, with proof of concrete activities.
The organization or its project should not be affiliated with, or have received any funding from, UNESCO.
