UNESCO/ISEDC Co-Sponsored Fellowships Programme – 2019 is open for application

The purpose of this fellowships programme is to boost the capability-constructing and human assets growth within the space of sustainable and renewable vitality sources in growing nations and nations in transition. The coaching actions within the framework of those fellowships are tenable in specialized establishments within the Russian Federation. The medium of instruction shall be English. UNESCO will solicit purposes from the growing nations and nations in transition.

In line with the technique and targets of the authorized UNESCO Programme and Budget for the Fellowships Programme Section, the UNESCO Category II International Center for Sustainable Energy Development (ISEDC) in Moscow (Russian Federation) is providing twenty (20) fellowships of 4 weeks (four)  period every in 2019.

The candidates might select to check within the following fields of research, that are aligned with UNESCO’s targets and programme priorities, as per authorized 35 C/5 and by the selections made by the Executive Board (161 EX/Decision three.6.three and 165 EX/Decision eight.6) :

(a) Energy and sustainable growth;
(b) Ecological administration of vitality assets;
(c) Renewable vitality;
(d) Sustainable and renewable vitality energy era.

    Benefits :

    Facilities supplied by ISEDC

    • Beneficiaries shall be exempt from paying tuition charges for the whole period of research/coaching;
    • Fellows will undertake research/coaching underneath the supervision of an advisor or research director that shall be offered by the host establishment;
    • The donor Government can pay stipends to beneficiaries on a month-to-month foundation, in native foreign money. The stipend amounting to 4 hundred twenty-5 (425) US dollars is meant to cowl dwelling bills equivalent to lodging, meals, pocket bills, and incidentals. The donor will decide the quantity of the stipend to be granted to beneficiaries;
    • ISEDC will help in acquiring modest housing for the fellows.

    Facilities supplied by UNESCO

    • UNESCO will cowl the price of the spherical-journey worldwide journey on the most economical fee and essentially the most direct flight.
    • UNESCO can pay a one-time journey allowance amounting to US$100 (100 US dollars) previous to the fellows’ departure for the Russian Federation.
    • Health insurance coverage. To avail of this entitlement, beneficiaries must be declared medically match by the UNESCO Medical Service that examines the entire medical
