The TWAS Research Cooperation Visits Program 2027 in Italy is presently accepting applications. UNESCO-TWAS (The World Academy of Sciences), in partnership with the Lincei Academy and the International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA), extends an invitation to young scientists from the Least Developed Countries. This unique exchange program offers scientists from the least developed nations who possess at least an MSc degree are invited to begin a three-month collaborative research venture at Centers of Excellence situated in Trieste or Udine, Italy. Plus, this TWAS program initiative allows them to engage in research endeavours aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) within various fields.

In addition, this research program enables candidates to conduct research within the laboratories of the Centers of Excellence located in Italy. However, research proposals for the TWAS fellowship should align with the domain of sustainability science and demonstrate relevance to areas that contribute to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
