The international competition is open to international students from all over the world. Students and young graduates are eligible to submit their entries online. It is an online competition. This amazing climate change competition has been taking place since 2022. The program allows students together in a team of 2 to 5 members to come up with an innovative solution on the topic of the challenge. This year, the topic of the Climate Challenge 2025 is adapting and living together in the face of climate risks.
Through this Team Up for Climate Challenge 2025, participants will identify a local area that they know well and want to create a change in that area. They will have to make it more resilient to climate change by identifying the climate risks and vulnerabilities in that area. They are required to understand the challenges; the more they understand, the better solutions they will be creating. The project of this international challenge should focus on three main categories that are Inform & Raise Awareness, Anticipate & Repair, and Protect. By participating in the global climate challenge, they will get hands-on experience in social innovation. Moreover, they will become a part of a community of like-minded people. This Team Up global climate challenge provides participants with access to professional networking opportunities.
Winners of this Team Up for Climate Challenge 2025 will win a cash prize of €1,000 per team member. Moreover, this international competition will also provide winners with a fully funded study trip to Paris. The participating teams will also get access to a range of support to help shape their projects. They will be participating in different workshops training them on pitching, entrepreneurship, and business models. Moreover, they will also get mentors paired with each team, which will help them focus on the technical aspects of their innovative ideas and their impact on climate adaptation. There will be top three teams and will get personal prizes and additional funding, which will help them bring their projects to life during the first six months.
