Teaching Excellence and Achievement (TEA) Program USA 2020

The Program of Excellence and Teaching Achievement (TEA) for Pakistan will provide Pakistani teachers in government schools with unique opportunities to develop experience in their subjects, improve their teaching skills and increase their knowledge of the United States.

This program is designed to improve the experience of teachers in their teaching discipline and equip them with a deeper understanding of best practices in teaching methodologies, lesson planning and the use of technology in teaching to create among educators a more nuanced understanding of the US UU.

Develop productive and lasting relationships and a mutual understanding between American and Pakistani teachers and their students. This is also intended to help improve teaching in participating countries by preparing participants to serve as teacher leaders, who upon returning to their homes will apply and share their experience and skills with their peers and students. All participants must return immediately to their country of origin at the end of the program. A group of teachers will go to the United States. UU. During eight weeks of internship in academic settings.

The participants travel to the United States in two different cohorts; 25 participants in each. Upon return to Pakistan, alumni will be eligible to apply for TEA small grants and will become members of Pakistan U.S. Alumni Network

    here is the eligibility criteria for Teaching Excellence and Achievement (TEA) Program

    • Public school teachers, teaching classes 6 to 10
    • Minimum of two years of teaching experience in English class
    • Pakistani citizens and residents in Pakistan
    • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
    • Plan to continue teaching for at least five years after the end of the program.
    • Have at least a bachelor’s degree

    Ineligibility

    • Applicants with dual US / Pakistani nationality
    • Those who have a father, spouse, fiance or child over 18, who is a citizen or permanent resident of the United States. UU.
    • Employees of the Fulbright organization or the US Department of State. UU. And their spouses, brothers, fiancees, parents and children
    • TEA program alumni

    Application Checklist

    • Completed application with a photocopy of academic transcripts after matriculation.
    • Hand-signed Privacy Policy and Application Certification.
    • Institutional Support and Reference Form completed by your supervisor and signed/stamped by your school director/principal.
    • A clear copy of the first two pages of passport or legal photo identification, if, you do not have a passport.
