The Program of Excellence and Teaching Achievement (TEA) for Pakistan will provide Pakistani teachers in government schools with unique opportunities to develop experience in their subjects, improve their teaching skills and increase their knowledge of the United States.
This program is designed to improve the experience of teachers in their teaching discipline and equip them with a deeper understanding of best practices in teaching methodologies, lesson planning and the use of technology in teaching to create among educators a more nuanced understanding of the US UU.
Develop productive and lasting relationships and a mutual understanding between American and Pakistani teachers and their students. This is also intended to help improve teaching in participating countries by preparing participants to serve as teacher leaders, who upon returning to their homes will apply and share their experience and skills with their peers and students. All participants must return immediately to their country of origin at the end of the program. A group of teachers will go to the United States. UU. The participants travel to the United States in two different cohorts; 25 participants in each. Upon return to Pakistan, alumni will be eligible to apply for TEA small grants and will become members of Pakistan U.S. Alumni Network
