    Candidates must meet the following requirements to be eligible for a software engineering internship at Apple

    • Follow BS / MS / PhD program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Design or related fields.
    • Strong object-oriented design skills, coupled with a deep understanding of algorithms and data structures.
    • Proficiency in one or more of the following developer skills: Java, C / C ++, PHP, Python, Ruby, Unix, MySQL, Clojure, Scala, JavaScript, CSS, HTML5.
    • Experience in sophisticated methodologies such as Data Modeling, Validation, Processing, Hadoop, MapReduce, Mongo, Pig.

    • Able to develop cross-functional requirements and translate them into practical engineering tasks.

    • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
    • Ability to work in a dynamic team-based environment.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills and social skills.

    Job/Internship Description :

    Apple Software Engineering Interns will perform the following tasks

    Backend Development – Interns will make the features our users love (like Siri) work by communicating data to user-facing applications. Backend development opportunities are available to students in the following areas: Siri, iCloud, Apple Maps, Core OS, OS X, Frameworks and Applications, Interactive Media Pool, Audio / Video Software Localization and Integration, Advanced Computing , iLife, iWorks, Aperture, Professional Applications, iTunes, Security, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and Platform Infrastructure Engineering (PIE).
    Web Development – Interns will also help build web-based applications and tools to improve our products and do more for our clients. Our developers are responsible for designing the direction of our products considering architecture, performance, testing, design, and implementation. And of course we are looking for engineers to use our products.
