Eligibility Criteria for the Slovakia Scholarships for Talented Students 2026/27:ย
- Applicants must be citizens of a country other than Slovakia. Dual citizenship that includes Slovak and another citizenship is allowed, while Slovaks living abroad must provide the required Certificate of Slovaks Living Abroad.ย
- They must not have had permanent residence in Slovakia from January 1, 2021, until the date ofย submittingย the scholarship application.ย
- Applicants must not have previously studied at a secondary school in Slovakia. Bachelor’s applicants must also not have previously studied at a Slovak higher education institution, except for academic mobility.ย
- Previousย study at a Slovak higher education institution does not prevent applicants from applying for a master’s scholarship.ย

- There is no upper age limit, but applicants under 18 must provide hand-signed approval from their legal guardian.ย
