Opportunities circle is bringing another great opportunity for you in form of Rhodes Scholarships for Syrians, Palestinians, Jordanians and Lebanese at Oxford (Fully Funded)
The Rhodes Scholarship in partnership with the Saïd Foundation for Syria is open now for Syrians, Palestinians, Jordanians and Lebanese.
There are two Rhodes Scholarships offered from Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, or Palestine each year. The Scholarships for SJLP were announced in 2016 and the first Scholars arrived in October 2017.
The Rhodes Scholarship Program is the oldest international scholarship program (established in 1903) in the world and one of the most prestigious. Administered by the Rhodes Trust in Oxford, the program offers 100 fully funded scholarships for postgraduate study each year at the University of Oxford in the UK – one of the world’s leading universities. The Rhodes Scholarships are for young leaders of exceptional intelligence and character, motivated to tackle global challenges, committed to serving others, and promising to become leaders of values and principles for the future of the world.
The basic duration of the scholarship is two years, always subject to satisfactory academic performance and personal conduct. In some cases, at the discretion of the Rhodes Trust Academic Committee and Rhodes Trustees, scholarship holders may apply for the third year of scholarship to complete the DPhil.
