The Hong Kong Polytechnic University is offering this International Research Summer School (IRSS). The PolyU Hong Kong International Research Summer School 2026 focuses on the following themes: AI+, Materials Science and Advanced Manufacturing, Life Science and Health Tech and Energy and Sustainability. The international summer school is open to students from all over the world. Undergraduate students and master’s students are eligible to apply for this PolyU IRSS 2026.

The PolyU International Research Summer School 2026 is a 2-week program for those who have a strong desire to pursue a PhD degree at PolyU. The duration of the PolyU International Summer School is 2 weeks and will run from 29 June to 9 July 2026. The international summer research school provides outstanding international students with unique opportunities and activities to engage with PolyU academics and students. Students will experience the vibrant environment and advanced research facilities of the Polytechnic University. Moreover, the summer research program will expose students to interdisciplinary research and the different PhD study paths that are available. Students will participate in and enjoy cultural activities.

The PolyU Hong Kong International Summer School 2026 is a Research Summer School. Participants will get a cash allowance of HK$10,000 which can be used to support the travel costs of participants after completely attending the Summer School. Furthermore, they will also get free student hall accommodation at the PolyU Student Hall for the whole duration of the International Research Summer School (IRSS) 2026. Moreover, international students who require a visa/permit will get a full subsidy of the visa/entry permit fee.
