The scholarship is open for undergraduate students who will enrol or who are already enrolled in an eligible university in Pakistan. Students must fill out the form available on the website of the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan and have their universities and higher education institutions submit the form for them.

The HEC (Higher Education Commission) of Pakistan is in charge of the regulation, looking after the funds and operations of higher education and universities in Pakistan. The government of Pakistan established it in 1974. The headquarters for the HEC is in Islamabad.

For students struggling to pay for their university degrees, the HEC is offering need-based scholarships. The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan is interested in ensuring that students in universities can complete their degrees and that finances are not why they are being stopped.

Applicants must already be enrolled in an undergraduate program or want to enrol in an undergraduate program.

Applicants must be enrolled on a merit basis (no applicants on a self-finance basis).

Benefits :

Selected applicants will have their entire undergraduate degree funded.

Tuition fees will be provided.

Stipend (if applicable).

If a student who is receiving HEC’s need-based scholarship drops out, another student will be chosen in their place.

The HEC will not accept direct applications (they must be sent through universities).

Students already enrolled in undergraduate programs that need funding will receive partial funding.

Students will not receive the funding directly in their bank accounts; it will go to the university.
