The wait is over now. The big program is here. Applications are invited to apply for the Japan 2019 METI Internship Program . This internship in Japan is totally sponsored by the government of Japan for all students from all over the world.

In the METI Internship Program , they will select 200 students from all over the world with any nationality. The duration of the METI internship will be 2.5 to 3 months. There are no criteria for a CPGA, or for any academic discipline. Participants with any field are eligible. In fact, Language test is not required for internship

Undergraduate students and graduate students must be at least 20 years old and not more than 40 years old are eligible in any academic field. If you do not have a passport yet, you can request it. After the selection, you will be asked to make a passport. Read more details below

    • Have the citizenship of an eligible country or region.
    • Skill in English A LANGUAGE PROOF IS NOT REQUIRED.
    • As a general rule, applicants must be at least 20 years of age and no more than 40 as of June. 15. 2019
    • Applicants must also be able to present a certificate of graduation or enrollment in a school or university and a letter of recommendation from a university or affiliated institution, etc.
    • Able to complete both the internship and full-time preliminary training in the host company.

    Responsibilities of interns

    The main responsibilities of the inmates are:

    • Formulation of an internship plan (roles/objectives, etc. of an intern) discussing with the internship manager
    • Participate in pre-training, follow-up training and recapitulation presentation.
    • Participate in a full-time internship during the designated period.
    • Take responsibility for your own safety and health in the most complete way possible. Securing the information network related to emergencies in Japan. Keep in touch with the Program Office and the host company regularly to inform or consult with them in case of injury or mental illness, etc.
    • Being required to handle some tasks requested from the program office (document, notification and report) not only during the internship period, but also before and after the internship.
    • Appropriate behaviour represented as a recipient of public funds from the Japanese government.

    Benefits :

    As mentioned above, the METI Japan Internship Program is a fully funded internship for international students. All expenses will be covered. METI is a free internship in Japan and also a paid internship in Japan.

    • stipened : 4,000 yen per day for living expenses. This amount will be paid during the entire duration of the internship.

    D: Entering Japan on Mon, September 30 & departing on Tue, December 10
    E: Entering Japan on Mon, October 7 & departing on Tue, December 17

    Notification of results
    As a result of the approval of the Selection Committee, a letter of acceptance notification will be sent to both the intern and the host company. Based on this notification, the host company will begin to prepare to accept the interns, and the interns will begin to prepare to travel to Japan and participate in the internship.
