Max Planck Institute Law Internship Program in Germany 2023 is accepting applications. Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law offers the opportunity for highly motivated undergraduate and graduate law students to get familiar with the academic skills and research in the field of comparative public law, international law and European law. This international law internship allows students to work in a professional environment to improve their professional skills and improve their network for future career paths.

Interns will work under the supervision of MPIL research fellows who will supervise them throughout their internship tenure. Interns will also contribute to research projects as well as academic studies; furthermore, interns will also contribute to make an education plan. This international internship can be taken voluntarily or as a part of a degree requirement. Moreover, the duration of the Max Planck Institute internship is a minimum of 4 weeks and shall not exceed 12 weeks. The institute will prefer applications that propose a longer internship period, for example, 8 to 12 weeks.

Paid legal internships will reimburse € 300 per month for interns enrolled in a degree program at any recognized university. However, the reimbursement amount is subject to tax and social insurance according to the conditions that apply to the residents and non-residents of Germany.
