The application is open now for the Internship in Japan by Tokyo University 2020 . It is the paid internship offered by the Tokyo University.
The objective of the program is to provide university students from different countries (including some in Japan) who are engaged or who are considering a career in biology or related sciences and who seek to continue graduate studies, with eight weeks of experience in biomedical research in Las basic and translational sciences. Members of the Faculty of the Graduate School of Medicine, the Graduate School of Engineering, the Graduate School of Science, the Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, the Graduate School of Agricultural and Life Sciences and the Institute of Science Industrialists are providing research experiences. At the end of their summer experience, students are expected to acquire knowledge and skills to conduct research. Students are also expected to extend their international friendship through collaborative experiences. These experiences will help students develop future collaborations in many situations.
In addition to working full time in the laboratory for 8 weeks, the program features:
- Visits to graduate schools and institutes related to biomedical research.
- Informative sessions on how to apply for Postgraduate Schools in UTokyo
- Special seminars and lunches where students can meet and talk.
- Access to the UTokyo campus facilities, such as the Library, the Healthcare Center and the Gymnasium
- Japanese cultural events
- Trips
