    Eligibility Criteria :

    • Essays can be submitted by anyone up to 25 years old (as of June 15, 2020) in one of the following age categories: a) Children (up to 14 years old) b) Young people (15 to 25 years old)
    • Essays must be 700 words or less in English, French, Spanish, or German, or 1,600 characters or less in Japanese, excluding the essay title and cover. Essays can be typed or printed.
    • Tickets can be submitted online or by mail.
    • IMPORTANT: To submit your essay online, you must go to the online registration page and follow the required steps. Since the online registration page is expected to experience high traffic towards the June 15 deadline, we suggest that you submit your essay as soon as possible.
    • Entries sent by post must include a cover stating
      • Your name
      • Category (children or youth)
      • Age as of June 15, 2020
      • Gender
      • nationality
      • Speak to
      • Email (
      • Phone number
      • School name (if applicable)
      • The title of your essay
      • Language
      • word count.
    • Teachers and youth directors can present a collection of essays from their class or group.
    • Attach a list of the participants’ names, ages, and the name and contact information of the teacher or principal who sent it.
    • Entries without the above information will not be considered.
    • Only one entry per person is accepted.
    • A cover template is available for download. You can also create your own cover with all elements (1) – (12) above.
    • We cannot confirm receipt of the trials.
    • Essays must be original and unpublished. Plagiarized entries will be rejected.
    • Essays must be written by one person. Co-authorship essays are not accepted.
    • The copyright of the entered essays will be assigned to the organizer.
