Harvard Kennedy School fellowship is providing an opportunity to pursue master’s program in the USA.

In the last few years, sustainable development is being focused more and more by governments and businesses around the globe to restore and protect our natural environment, and for that, more skilled, passionate, and environmentally friendly leaders are required. To help in this cause, the Harvard Kennedy School has launched this Louis and Gabrielle Bacon Environmental leadership fellowship which aims to select and train future leaders for environment-focused leadership.

This fellowship will select the potential individual who can be future leaders from different governmental bodies, NGO’s and businesses around the globe working for environmental leadership. Unfortunately, environmental leadership is not as easy as it seems; the people with power and money are the biggest hurdle.

Moreover, that is why the Harvard Kennedy School fellowship program aims to teach future leaders team-building, listening, empathy, self-awareness, persuasion, negotiation, and advocacy. Furthermore, all these skills will be taught through workshops, learning by experience, retreats, coaching sessions, all by highly professional environmental leaders of the globe.

    The criteria for Harvard Kennedy School fellowship is as follows:

    • Only the degree program students studying at the Harvard Kennedy School are eligible.
    • Students of joint or Concurrent degree programs associated with Harvard Kennedy School are also eligible.
    • The selection of the applicants will be highly dependent upon their leadership abilities.
    • Only those students are encouraged to apply who want to pursue their career in environmental leadership.
    • Students will good academic records are encouraged to apply.

    Benefits :

    • Harvard Kennedy School will cover the full tuition fee of selected students for the Master’s program.
    • A detailed educational program with co-curricular activities teaching leadership.
    • Students will be connected to an international network of students or people having the same goal.
    • The scholarship will also cover the health insurance of the student.
    • The scholarship holders will be provided with a monthly allowance of $10,000.
    • The Joint or concurrent degree students under this scholarship will receive a different allowance amount per month subjected to their school in residence.

    Application Process:

    • First, enroll yourself at the Harvard Kennedy school.
    • After this, click the apply now button below or go to the official website and apply for the Harvard Kennedy School Fellowship.
    • Applicants are required to submit the following:
    • A biographical profile of no more than 150 words.
    • A document containing written responses to two essay prompts about their environmental leadership and service, as well as their fellowship.
    • The interview of the successful candidates will be conducted in the spring of 2022 by the Louis and Gabrielle Bacon Environmental leadership fellowship committee.
