The Green Business Ideas Competition 2022 is now accepting submissions. Are you interested in introducing your business ideas on a large scale?

Climate Launchpad is the world’s largest startup competition for green company ideas. The competition is the path to international fame. Assuming that you have a green business idea and the necessary skills to succeed as an entrepreneur.

Invention and Innovation can pave the road to a more environmentally friendly future. That is the reason they provide a platform for people with exceptional cleantech ideas and assist them in turning those ideas into global impact enterprises. ClimateLaunchpad is part of Climate-Entrepreneurship KIC’s program.

Themes:

The pitching streams at the regional finals and the Global grand final will be on the following themes.

  • Adaptation and Resilience are the first two concepts. Second, there are Circular Economies.

    Eligibility Criteria :

    Following are the criteria for applicants:

    • Anyone interested in becoming an entrepreneur with a strong cleantech proposal could participate.
    • They can be a new business, a student, a researcher, a small or medium-sized enterprise, a government agency, an engineer, a consultant, a combination, or something else entirely.
    • If the applicants don’t have a complete business plan. They can assist them in improving their plan or show them how to make one from scratch.
    • Finally, the participant can only apply from within their country.

    Requirements:

    • To begin with, the applicants have not yet launched a business or the firm has been incorporated for less than a year; that is the applicant’s legal organization has not been in existence for more than one year.
    • Additionally, new business has received less than €200,000 in total funding, including government loans, grants, angel or venture capital investments, etc.
    • Applicants haven’t yet sold commercially viable items, solutions, or prototypes.

    Here are the benefits of green business idea competition:

    • The winner of the Global Grand Final will get €10,000.
    • The runner-up will receive €5,000.
    • The third-placed proposal will receive €2,500.
    • The jury will select the top 16 teams chosen to compete in the Global Grand Final’s final phase and will have automatic admission to the Climate-KIC Climate Launchpad Accelerator.
    • Individuals will also receive mentorship from top professionals.

    Following are the steps once the applicant enters the competition.

    • Boot Camp: National leads select the top teams to participate in the Climate Launchpad National program, which begins with a multi-day digital Boot Camp. Their instructors will teach the applicants all they need to know about launching a business.
    • Intensive coaching and National Finals: A month of rigorous coaching follows the Boot Camp. Applicant pitch, business model, and value proposition will all be perfected. After that, the applicant is ready to take on the National Final, where they will pitch to a National Jury digitally.
    • Regional Finals: Each country’s top teams will compete in the regional finals, pitching in front of the region’s finest and brightest. The best-of-the-best are selected to compete in the digital global grand final.
    • Global Grand Final: On the international stage, the best teams compete against one another.

    • Fill out the form, and answer questions such as what problem they are solving and what influence their project has on the environment?
    • A business plan is not required. They can assist the applicants in improving their plans or show them how to make one from scratch.
    • The deadline for each country is different.
