Application is open for all students to apply for the Google Student Training in Engineering Program Internship. It will be open to under-represented groups who will be in the second year of their university studies in the summer of 2021 and are studying Computer Science or a related subject. This program includes three main components: a software project, skills-based training, and professional development.
Google’s student engineering training program is open to all qualified college students and is committed to addressing diversity in the business and in the technology industry. Students who are members of a group that is historically underrepresented in the technology industry are encouraged to apply.
This summer internship program includes a development project in which participants will work with a team of Google and other STEP interns. Candidates will improve their coding skills and will be exposed to new programming tools and languages. Additionally, they will attend ongoing technical talks from senior Google employees, team up with a Google engineer to guide them through the summer experience, and participate in social activities, community building, and networking.
