Application is open for Google Hash Code Competition 2019 Hash Code is a computer programming competition, organized by Google, for students and professionals from around the world. This year’s contest starts with an online qualification round, where your team can compete from anywhere you want, including one of Google’s hash code centers. The best teams will be invited to a Google office for the Final Round.
What is the hash code?
Google’s teaming competition, Hash Code, allows you to share your skills and connect with other programmers as you work together to solve a problem modeled after a true Google engineering challenge. In small teams of two to four, programmers from around the world will tackle the first problem through an online qualification round. Although this round is done online, teams can join to compete side by side in locally coordinated hash code centers. The best teams in this round are invited to join an international Google office for the annual final round of hash codes.
How does it work
Once you have registered for the contest, you will gain access to the Google judge system. The Judge System is an online platform where you will form your team, join a center, practice and compete during the rounds. During the online qualifying round, you will see the live YouTube transmission of Google to know the problem, and your team will have four hours to solve an optimization problem using the programming language and the tools of your choice. Teams can compete from a local center or other location of their choice. The best teams of the Online Qualification Round will be invited to the Final Round at a Google office, where they will work together to solve another challenge and compete for cash prizes.
Deadline is February 25, 2019
