The Generation Connect Young Leadership Program offers selected fellows a year-long virtual leadership training program by ITU and Huawei. Fellows will also participate in an in-person global training week in Geneva, Switzerland in July 2025. Hence, making it a fantastic training program in Switzerland. Each fellow will receive an initial $5,000 grant to implement a digital development project of their choice. Similarly, to encourage the scaling of impactful initiatives, the most successful projects will be awarded an additional $5,000 grant at the end of the year, enabling fellows to expand and enhance their projects. Individuals between the ages 18 and 28 are highly encouraged to apply.
Moreover, through the Generation Connect Young Leadership Program, participants will have the opportunity to implement and grow their projects. They will also have the chance to pursue an international leadership program. The first cohort of the GCYLP had around 5249 applicants from over 200 countries.
