    Here are some eligibility criteria for External Relations Internship at WFO:

    • Currently enrolled, with at least six months of graduate study completed, or recently graduated (within the last six months) of Political Studies, International Relations, or relevant field.
    • Verbal and written fluency (level C) in English and French; Practical knowledge of other United Nations languages ​​will be an asset.

    Job/Internship Description :

     

    Under the supervision of the Head of the Office and supporting the Alliance Officer, the candidate will perform the following functions at External Relations Internship at World Food Program:

    • Provide operational support for stakeholder database creation, entry, management, and reporting.
    • Provide operational support in analyzes and evaluations that quantify and demonstrate WFP’s unique value as a partner.
    • Analyze relevant information to prepare summaries for engagement with external stakeholders.
    • Collect strategic and relevant input for internal and external communications, including internal informational materials.
    • Identify relationships within data and provide insights to enable discussion and inform action with stakeholders.
    • Use data analytics visualization to extract fact-based insights and develop powerful narratives within your own area of ​​responsibility.

    Benefits :

    • Interns receive a monthly stipend from WFP up to the maximum amount of US$1000 per month depending on the duty station of assignment.
    • WFP is not responsible for living expenses, arrangements for accommodation, necessary visas, and related costs. But FP will reimburse travel tickets for candidates who are nationals of developing countries and are pursuing their studies in their home country.
    • WFP will recognize candidates’ educational credentials from recognized institutions that have been certified by competent international or national authorities such as the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) or Ministries of Education.

    By the end of the assignment, the intern should have contributed to:

    • The establishment of an efficient and effective stakeholder database.
    • Provide Powerful narratives using data analytics visualization to enable action-oriented discussions with partners.
    • Briefs for the development of alliances.
    • Ongoing operations and establishment of the new WFP office in Canada.
