Dalai Lama Fellowship Programme 2019 cultivates and supports a global movement of next-generation leaders who apply universal values to solve global challenges.
Your Fellowship offers emerging leaders a rigorous and interdisciplinary program of ways to be a different kind of leader, a leader who connects and cares for himself, extends genuine compassion to others and works for our common humanity. Fellows cultivate practices in mind to increase self-awareness, self-care, and resilience, to connect with others and work on differences, and to create solutions for generations to come.
Throughout a year, with the support of mentors and coaches, each Fellow designs and implements an original Field Project that addresses a global challenge. After graduating, Fellows join a community for life, where they connect and support each other as they continue to advance in their leadership journeys.
They provide each member of the project:
Immersion in their distinctive one-year Head, Heart, Hands leadership curriculum;
Individual coaching to support their projects of social change and personal development as contemplative and collaborative leaders;
Participation in two-week world assemblies with scholars from around the world and dynamic teachers
Lifetime affiliation in our global learning community and support system.
Dalai Lama Fellows was founded in 2010 with the inspiration and encouragement of the fourteenth Dalai Lama, is reinventing leadership by cultivating and supporting a global movement of next-generation leaders who apply universal values and have local understanding to solve global challenges at the community level. The program is secular and ecumenical.
