The industrial internship program is an initiative taken by COMSTECH and Gourmet. The objective of this funded internship program is to promote innovation and research & development in different industrial sectors. The COMSTECH-Gourmet internship program offers practical training in various industrial sectors like food industries, plant utilities, the News Network Division, engineering, and other main sectors. The internship is open to students with BS/BSc or MS/MSc degrees in relevant fields of study. Moreover, the students must be from the member countries of the OIC.
The duration of this funded internship program is 4 weeks, and almost 10 internships will be provided in the first batch of this internship program. The COMSTECH-Gourmet Industrial Internship Program aims to help students and provide interns with hands-on experience. They will get exposure to cutting-edge methodologies and technologies. Through this amazing research internship program, they will enhance their practical skills and theoretical knowledge. Moreover, they will get an opportunity to engage in real-world projects and learn from them. The interns will also participate and contribute to improving and advancing industrial processes. They will be working to develop sustainable solutions, which will ultimately drive technological innovation. It will also improve operational efficiencies in the fields of value addition and human nutrition.
The Ministerial Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation (OIC-COMSTECH) was established by the OIC Third Islamic Summit, which was held in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, in January 1981. The aim of COMSTECH is to strengthen cooperation among OIC Member State Countries in science and technology (S&T) and strengthen their capabilities through training and opportunities.
