Commonwealth Foundation grant program team is hiring an intern to work with the grant program team at their office in London. As an intern, you will perform tasks such as assisting in grant program management, research, database management, and administrative support if required. The intern will be the part of other Foundation based projects too. The intern will work at St. James’ office in London until the social distancing restriction remains the internship will be remotely for the time being.

    Here are the eligibilities for Commonwealth Foundation Internship

    • The candidate must be committed to the foundation’s mission and values.
    • The candidate should prioritize to multi-task and “I CAN DO IT” attitude.
    • I should have excellent IT skills in database management.
    • The candidate should demonstrate good writing and communication skills.
    • The candidate should have a UK nationality or possess an appropriate visa. The foundation will not sponsor any visa application. Possession of Passport and Visa is important, if not then the application cannot proceed.

    Benefits :

    Here are the benefits for the Commonwealth Foundation Internship

    • £55 allowance/day,
    • Travel allowance £20 per day.
    • Five days a week, 9:30 am to 5:30 pm.
    • Flexibility in time can be discussed if the intern is enrolled in courses to study.
    • The duration of the internship is 6 months, extension to one year.
    • This is an internship, does not constitute employment with foundation.
    • The intern may be included in external learning opportunities (conferences, development programs).
    • Assistance will be provided to the intern to secure a position in other organizations at the end of the internship.
    • If there is a vacancy at the foundation, the intern can apply after completion of the internship, yet there’s no guarantee.

    INTERVIEW AND APPOINTMENT

    • The interview will be held on 14th and 15th July 2020.
    • The proposed date to start an internship is 3rd August 2020.
